By applying practical understanding of design principles ,following the tested and a reasonable conformity
to the rules of design, it is possible to produce great variety in
the design of rooms without losing sight of the purpose for
which they are intended.

This simply means ; you can design spaces in many creative ways, but the design must still suit how the space is meant to be used. If you decorate it beautifully but people cannot sit comfortably or move around, then the design has failed its purpose.

Those dotted and zigzag lines on staircases are not errors.
They’re how architects show continuation and levels without cluttering the drawing.
Now you know what to look out for, Once you understand them, plans start to make sense.

This dining space was designed with a focus on understated luxury and comfort. The marble tabletop introduces natural movement and visual depth, while the soft neutral dining chairs balance the bold surface with warmth and ease. Floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains soften natural light and create a calm, refined atmosphere. Subtle metallic accents were added to elevate the overall look without overpowering the simplicity of the design.

POV : You sink into one of the chairs and everything feels softer. The noise fades a bit. The patterns feel playful, almost like a quiet nod to celebration without doing too much. Someone sits across from you, a drink in hand, and the conversation slows into something easy and familiar.

When I approached this bathroom, my focus was simple: create a space that feels calm, balanced, and timeless.

I started with warm neutral tiles because they have a quiet confidence. They don’t overwhelm the space, but they set the mood immediately. I wanted the bathroom to feel inviting, not cold, so every finish was chosen to work together, not compete.

The mirror was a key decision. I went with a large backlit mirror to bring in softness and depth. Lighting changes everything, and here it gives the room that gentle, hotel-quality glow that makes the space feel considered and elevated.

The floating vanity was intentional. It keeps the space visually light and gives the bathroom room to breathe. I paired the wood finish with a marble countertop to balance warmth with refinement. The countertop basin is sculptural but practical, and the black fittings add just enough contrast to ground the design.

This bathroom wasn’t designed to shout. It was designed to feel good to walk into, easy to use, and elegant over time. That’s always my goal: spaces that feel calm, functional, and quietly luxurious.

The lighting is doing a lot of the work here. A full height mirror with warm backlighting adds depth and gives the space that subtle glow you usually see in well designed suites. This bathroom has a clean, modern feel with a warm, hotel style finish. The walls are clad in large format tiles in a soft taupe tone, which keeps the space calm and cohesive while making it feel bigger.

The backdrop combines vertical fluted wood panels with smooth neutral panels, giving the wall texture without making it busy. The TV sits neatly centered within the lighter panel, which frames it and keeps the focus clean and balanced.

To the left, there’s an integrated display shelf finished in the same warm wood tone. Soft LED lighting highlights the decor pieces and books, turning the shelf into an accent rather than just storage. It adds visual interest and breaks up the width of the wall nicely.

Below, the low floating console runs almost wall to wall. It’s minimal, grounded, and practical, with concealed storage to keep clutter out of sight. The continuous wood finish ties everything together and adds warmth against the tiled floor.

The shelves are finished in a rich wood tone that adds depth, while the matching wood back panel gives it a built in, custom feel. A slim LED strip tucked beneath the upper shelf washes the surface with soft, warm light, which instantly elevates it from basic storage to an accent feature
