AWAS is an integration of the Automated Enforcement System (AES) and the Demerit Points System (Kejara). Traffic offenders will be imposed demerit points and also issued a compound to be paid within 60 days. NO MORE DISCOUNTS

AwAS ❗️baru mulai bulan Sept 2018.
Bawa laju dapat mata demerit.

Sekarang kalau kena AwAS, bukan sahaja dikompaun saman, tapi akan dikenakan Mata Demerit ❗

Mulai 1 September 2018, JPJ telah melaksanakan sepenuhnya peruntukan perundangan ke atas saman-saman yang dikeluarkan oleh AwAS tanpa sebarang DISKAUN atau PENGECUALIAN ❗

Sistem Mata Demerit bagi Kenderaan Persendirian

Gagal mematuhi isyarat merah: - 4 mata
Melebihi 1km ke 25km: - 2 mata
Melebihi 25km ke 40km: - 3 mata
Melebihi 40km: - 4 mata

Apa kesan Sistem Mata Demerit?😨😟

1. Kali pertama Demerit 20 mata: Terima 'AMARAN'

2. Kali kedua Demerit 20 mata: Lesen digantung 6 bulan - 8 bulan

3. Kali ketiga Demerit 20 mata: Lesen digantung 8 bulan - 10 bulan

4. Kali keempat Demerit 20 mata: Lesen digantung 10 bulan - 1 tahun

5. Kali kelima Demerit 20 mata: Lesen digantung selamanya. Ambil permeriksaan baru bagi dapatkan balik Lesen Memandu 😨😨😨
