Someone recently walked into my office to ask what i have to say concerning the recent comment by the Nigeria apex bank, CBN on Cryptocurrency. According to the person, CBN has warned Nigerians not to put in their money in cryptocurrency. That cryptocurrency is illegal.
I laughed and told him i was not surprise.

ATM existed for about 25years in developed world before Nigeria saw the need for it.
Mobile Phones existed for over a decade in developed countries before Nigeria saw the need for it.
Internet existed for years before we had it here.
And many other things.
Cryptocurrency is an Evolution in the Payment system.
It is an evolution of money or evolution in the payment system.

Money started from Trade by Barter to Cowries, From Cowries to Gold, From Gold to Coins, From Coins to "Fiat" Paper Money, From Paper Money to ...........Cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is the payment system of the future all over the world.
Fiat currency has over stayed its time. For there to be a real and effective cashless society that the whole world is crying for, cryptocurrency has to be taken seriously.

Many countries have taken this seriously be inventing or adopting a cryptocurrecny.
