Worried about your car seat being too dirty for me to clean- don’t be! The dirtier the better because I LOVE a good before and after- so much satisfaction! This seat got a good deep clean:
- vacuum
- stains pre-scrubbed (with mild soap and water per car seat manufacturer)
- cover washed
- straps and buckles wiped with damp cloth
- air compressor in tight spaces to get rid of sand and crumbs
- sanitized wipe down with soap and water
Not all the stains came out, but most did with a good scrub down! Car seats take extra car and precaution to ensure the car seat is still safe to use as harsh stain removers, chemicals, and even natural cleaning agents like vinegar can make a seat unsafe! Make sure you’re following your car seats manufacturer guidelines for cleaning and care- if you’re worried, leave it to the professionals!
