a space that the funiture is placed.
사람의 지위와 성격까지 반영되었으며, 소망이나 기원 또한 조각이나 무늬를 통해 새겨졌습니다. Also, it reflects the customer's social position and characteristics, and their wishes are engraved by a special pattern.
지금의 원목가구가 주는 모던하고 대중적인 기호를 가지고 있진 못했지만 사람을 참 많이 닮아있었습니다. The present hardwood funiture does not look like modernize and popular but are very similar with human being.
유행에 따라 비슷해지는 지금의 가구모양이나 제작방식들은 어쩌면 인간성을 상실한지도 모릅니다. The trandy furniture with smae shape and production method lose their humanity.
그리고 함께 목수를 닮은 그들의 수공구들도 사라졌습니다. Also, their hand tools which are similar with carpenter disappear now days.
사라진 그들의 수공구들로 상실된 인간성을 담은 인간을 닮은 가구를 재현합니다. The disappeared hand tools are reproduced with human-like funiture.
가구에는 지금은 거의 쓰이지 않는 배대패와 남경대패가 사용되었습니다. My funiture are widely used with 배대패 and 남경대패 which are rarely used now days.
이 두 가지 수공구를 통한 일련의 과정들은 투박하지만 수차례 반복되는 정성이 필요하고 각각의 다른 선을 만듭니다. Through the both 배대패 and 남경대패, the works need to devote lot of times and can make many kinds of different shape.
가구에는 직선이 아닌 곡선이 사용되었습니다. Many different curves are used in the funiture.
사람과 가구의 접촉면을 사람 몸의 모양을 닮은 부드러운 곡선으로 처리했습니다. The shape of the contact surface with human and the funiture is handled with smooth curves.
그 곡선은 배려이며 따뜻한 환대의 의미입니다. The meaning of the curves is consideration and hospitality.
세월이 지나며 그 곡선은 더 깊어지기도 더 부드러워지기도 합니다. After long years, sometimes the curves are deeper or smoother than before.
사용하는 사람의 사용방식과 성품에 어울려 함께 늙어갑니다. Also, the funiture become old with people's using method and pesonality.
동일하게 만들어진 가구는 개인을 만족시키지 못한다. the funiture with same design cannot satisfy with person.
