Born in 1920 in Varedo, Italy, as a company specialized in the production of tables and chairs, COLICO ANTONIO grew exponentially in the postwar years to become, in the 1970’s, a leading company in the field of furniture for private and contract use. From its beginnings with handmade artisan work, the company started an evolutionary search for new forms and lines for the production of furniture wi

th a high content of design, geared towards an international clientele. Experience, tradition, and expertise come together in COLICO DESIGN through the research and use of technology and materials with a particular focus on environmental sustainability. Continuous research and investments guarantee for a consistent production of high quality products, able to offer innovation and function that are in perfect balance between the past and the future. Chairs, tables, stools, and even sofas and accessories with a strong stylistic imprint that identify themselves on the market for their quality, comfort, style, and exuberance. EXHIBITIONS. The presence of COLICO DESIGN at major exhibitions including the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Maison&Objet in Paris, and Crocus in Moscow confirm the international success of the brand. Over the years, it has established itself not only in Italy and Europe but in new emerging markets as well, spreading its unique style worldwide. Important awards and recognitions have helped to make the brand’s products famous. The ANNETTE chair from Max Caspani and Max Colombo in 1991, the JOKER stool from Fausto di Martino in 2001, and the GEO stool also from di Martino in 2003, were selected for the YOUNG & DESIGN competition. COLICO DESIGN furnishes the sets of top tier television shows, affirming the strong appeal of its image, capable of capturing the attention of the public. The increasingly numerous collaborations with established designers and new talents ensure for the continuous innovation of its lines and design.
