20 progetti straordinari, in finale per il contest di THE HOT SPOT. Iniziamo a presentarveli oggi partendo da Tri-Lander, il concept disegnato da AMDL CIRCLE: un’architettura sollevata da terra, a impatto zero, concepita come un modulo che può essere utilizzato singolarmente o replicato, per creare configurazioni più ampie. La matrice è un volume che a partire da un nucleo esagonale si apre con tre ‘rami’ in modo organico, verso la natura, e cerca un effetto mimetico con il paesaggio. All’interno il rivestimento è continuo, in legno, con l’inserto del radiatore Lana in tonalità verde, installato in verticale: un richiamo antropico dell’ambiente esterno che, con la sua plissettatura e la rifrazione dinamica della luce su di essa, allude al leggero movimento delle foglie.

20 extraordinary projects are included in the final step of THE HOT SPOT contest. We’ll start introducing them to you today, beginning with Tri-Lander, the tiny house concept designed by AMDL CIRCLE. Tri-Lander is an architecture elevated off the ground, with zero environmental impact, conceived as a module that can be used individually or replicated to create larger configurations. The matrix is a volume that, starting from a hexagonal core, organically branches out into three “limbs” toward nature, seeking to blend seamlessly with the landscape.
Inside, the wall cladding is a continuous wooden surface featuring the Lana radiator—in a shade of green—installed vertically: an echo of the outdoor environment that, with its pleated design and the dynamic refraction of light on its surface, evokes the gentle movement of leaves.

THE HOT SPOT is a contest for a 22-square-meter tiny house powered by Antrax IT, in collaboration with Officine Tamborrino .

For us, it was a magical event, where we had the opportunity to hear extraordinary architects speak about architecture, interior design, the relationship between the built environment and nature, small spaces, and solutions for living outside the ordinary. It was the evening of September 30th, when at our Antrax IT Milano showroom we hosted the presentation event for the 10 tiny house projects designed by our special guests— .zito.studio —for THE HOT SPOT contest, which we promoted in collaboration with . During the event, the shortlisted projects—by Cristian Spigariol Design Studio —were also announced; these had been selected by the jury and the contest’s scientific director, , to compete in the finals.

Carlo, the heating accessory born from the collaboration between our brand and Dante O. Benini, pays homage to Carlo Scarpa by replicating one of his technical details. It has been included in the ADI Design Index 2026 selection and will compete in the next edition of the Compasso d’Oro.

We’re strengthening our presence in the heart of Milan’s design scene. Just a short walk from Piazza San Babila and our showroom Antrax IT Milano (via San Damiano 5), a new Antrax IT space is about to be opened, in Corso Monforte 13. This new location is conceived to boost the brand’s visibility in Milan’s design district, but above all to welcome designers and partners, emphasize connections and new collaborations, and provide a contemporary space for new projects and ideas. This decision marks another step forward in our company’s growth and in our commitment to expanding our presence in Milan. We are currently working on this new project and will share more details with you soon.

Android is a three-dimensional object, a radiator that works on the evolution of the flat plate, transforming it into a sculptural relief surface. Daniel Libeskind’s distinctive design language, his expressive matrix entrusted to accentuated edges, takes shape in the collection created for Antrax IT, now celebrating its tenth anniversary. The aesthetic of Android becomes that of a heating surface punctuated by a sequence of angles and folds, interacting with light, continuously generating visual effects and shifting perspectives, offering a dynamic wall-mounted sculpture, both horizontally and vertically.

The contemporary and innovative aesthetic of the Android radiator is echoed by Manhattan and its unique skyline, visible through the large windows of the bathroom space, in the interior project by Carmine Abate Architetto .

Like many of the radiator and towel warmer collections in our catalog, Flaps is available in over two hundred color options. Designed by Victor Vasilev, it breaks up the linearity of a smooth plate. Its design emerges from the gesture of interrupting the 100% recyclable aluminium profile, to define a geometric sequence of folds, with a strong 3D effect. These can be placed at the top or bottom of the radiator, which can only be installed vertically, and are designed for hanging up and heating towels and bathrobes.

And here is Hashi, photographed in our Antrax IT Milano showroom, where it is on display in the window facing Via San Damiano. Designed by Piero Lissoni, it is our new release for 2026: a product with perfect proportions that reimagines the aesthetics of traditional towel warmers and incorporates accessories—such as square or circular mirrors—that are perfect for the bathroom.

Waffle is a radiator with a distinctive textural quality, combining a three-dimensional texture with an embossed, tactile finish. Its design, by Piero Lissoni, is enhanced by the addition of a wooden towel rail made of ash or walnut, featuring a satin-finished stainless steel connector.

A stage for special initiatives, our Antrax IT Milano showroom is ready to host the second and highly important leg of THE HOT SPOT contest, the challenge dedicated to Italian and international architects for the design of a 22 sqm tiny house, which we are promoting in collaboration with Officine Tamborrino.

On Wednesday 30th September, the presentation evening will take place for the 10 special guest projects in the running - AMDL CIRCLE, Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, Dante O. Benini Architects, Giuliano Andrea Dell’Uva, Lissoni & Partners, Parisotto + Formenton Architetti, Christophe Pillet, Matteo Thun & Partners, Victor Vasilev and Marco Zito Studio - along with the announcement of the 10 shortlisted firms that will compete against them, following the jury’s evaluation of the submitted proposals.

A special thanks to Tenuta Meraviglia, which will make the evening even more enjoyable with extraordinary wines.
