That's what the mother of Yukari, a 15-year-old from El Mante, Tamaulipas, said about her daughter's decision to pose beside her father's garbage truck during her quinceañera photoshoot. Yukari had always wanted a quinceañera. Her parents tried to talk her out of it, offering a trip or a new phone instead, but she never budged. They delayed the celebration from her August birthday to December to spread out the costs. Her father, who has worked as a public sanitation driver for 23 years, made it happen. During her photo session, Yukari chose to pose beside the truck her dad drives every day. Photographer Alejandro Pinilla shared the images with the message: "Yukari proudly shows off her father's work - feel the love and effort they put in to celebrate her big day." The story spread so widely that electronics retailer Elektra reached out to gift her a computer, and a local restaurant invited the whole family for a meal.
