EDUCATION FRAUD EXPOSED:
Srinagar Coaching Mafia Caught Red-Handed in JE Result Forgery
SKIE Classes Fakes 99.84 Percentile to Sell Admissions—Actual Score Just 73.2
Shameful Exploitation of Student, Public Deceived in Broad Daylight
Srinagar, April 21:
In one of the most disgraceful education scams to hit the Valley in recent memory, SKIE Classes, a so-called premier coaching institute in Srinagar, has been caught red-handed forging a student’s Joint Entrance result—a move widely condemned as a criminal attempt to loot parents and manufacture fake toppers for greedy commercial gain.
The institute circulated a doctored scorecard, shamelessly projecting that a student secured a 99.84 percentile. But a quick QR scan exposed the truth: her actual score was 73.2—not even close to qualifying.
This wasn’t a glitch or a misunderstanding. This was cold, calculated fraud.
The forged PDF, filled with lies, was spread aggressively by a network of paid Facebook influencers and YouTube hawkers, portraying the student as a “historic achiever.” In reality, the girl didn’t even clear the qualifying cut-off. The deception was designed to trap more innocent parents into enrolling their children by showcasing false success.
A New Low in Kashmir’s Coaching Sector
Experts are calling this a full-blown scam. “Editing an NTA-issued result is not just unethical—it’s a criminal offense under IPC and cyber laws. This coaching centre should face immediate closure and criminal charges,” said a legal expert.
Even more disturbing, the student—believed to be unaware of the forgery—was dragged in front of cameras, used as a marketing prop by the institute. Whether she was manipulated, coerced, or lied to remains unclear, but the psychological damage is undeniable.
Rot in Media & Influencer Circuit
Adding fuel to the fire, several local media pages and influencers—motivated by cash, not credibility—ran with the fake story. None verified the QR code, none questioned the institute, and all played a role in spreading false hope to thousands of unsuspecting families.
“This is not just SKIE Classes’ shame—it’s a collective failure of integrity across our education system, social media, and local journalism,” said a furious parent who had planned to enroll his child there.
Weak Excuses, Zero Accountability
When contacted, the centre’s official bizarrely claimed that the student’s parents told them about a different score and cited a screenshot and email that have yet to be produced. No NTA confirmation, no QR-verified result—just a flimsy excuse to cover a mountain of lies.
“This is a textbook case of academic fraud,” said one former school principal. “They faked success, exploited a student, corrupted the media, and misled the public. What more proof do authorities need to shut this institute down permanently?”
Time for Crackdown
The people are demanding action, not apologies. Authorities have been urged to:
• Launch a criminal investigation under cybercrime and forgery laws
• Revoke the license of SKIE Classes permanently
• Penalize media pages that spread the lie without verification
• Ensure mental health support for the exploited student
Kashmir’s education sector is teetering on a moral cliff, and unless scams like this are crushed without mercy, coaching centres will keep selling fake dreams in exchange for real money.
