Heavy furniture makes a room feel small. 👇

That is the problem the Whisper Chair solves.

If you look at the photos, you can see right through the back and sides. The open weave lets light pass freely. This means you can add seating to a room, a cafe, or a patio without making the space feel crowded or dark.

But making a chair look this light requires serious engineering.

The designer, Yuzuru Yamakawa, built the frame using solid Tohiti Rattan. Because of this specific wood, the entire chair weighs just 5 kilograms. You can easily pick it up with one hand. Yet, the frame is so strong that it safely holds 150 kilograms. (If you swipe to the second photo, you will see his signature ‘Y’ built into the back—his personal stamp on the frame’s strength).

We do not paint over it. We leave it in its natural color so you can see the raw quality of the rattan.

It takes a skilled artisan over a week to build just one of these chairs, weaving the Sega Rattan Skin entirely by hand to give your back the right support.

If you look closely at the woven frame in this photo, you will see a distinct 'Y' expertly integrated into the structure. That isn't just a design choice—it is a signature. It tells you this is an original Wingback Chair, designed by the legendary Yuzuru Yamakawa.

Bringing this level of global design language to the Indian market requires meticulous ex*****on. Our artisans spend over a week crafting a single piece.

Instead of hiding the material, the solid Tohiti Rattan frame is stripped to reveal its raw, natural color. The intricate, breathable panels are woven entirely by hand using premium Sega Rattan Skin.

The engineering is just as precise. The entire chair weighs a mere 5kg—making it effortless to move across your patio or lounge—yet the Yamakawa design effortlessly supports 150kg.

Why a dining chair should never dictate the size of your room.

In a tropical climate, the worst thing a chair can do is hug you too tight. Upholstery traps heat. Solid wood blocks the breeze.

The ‘Dune’ chair is engineered on a different principle: Circulation.

Observe the backrest. It is not a solid wall. It is constructed of vertical rattan reeds, spaced precisely to allow air to pass through freely. When you sit back, you are supported, but you are not enclosed.
