Job Summary
APSO is into home automation and access control systems for sharing and collaborative economy. We are a part of Nasscom 10k startup initiative and also selected as IOT iconic startup by Nasscom and Government of Karnataka. We are a part of Lodha Palava accelerator in Mumbai.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our APSO product dev team. We're interested in a self-directed, motivated individual with a relentless drive for innovation and who is never satisfied with the status quo.
About You:
You are a passionate and result-driven individual who has the following:
Degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Architecture or portfolio of exceptional skill
1-2+ years in UX, UI, Product Design or equivalent field
Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for consumer-facing native mobile apps, and/or web-based applications
High interest in constantly keeping up-to-date on the latest design and technology trends, best practices and competitive activity
Ability to perform with ambiguity or when requirements are in flux
Proven experience showing clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology constraints, and business goals
Willingness to collaborate in cross-functional team environment
Comfort in delivering solutions and performing tasks within agile workflow
Aesthetic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
Business-minded approach to time, costs and deadlines

Responsibilities and Duties
Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
Designing graphics user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate functionality and usability.
Eager to learn principles of design thinking, abstraction and UX industrialization
Qualifications and Skills
Proficient in creating UI/UX for web, for mobile, Marketing Brochures,
Experience in Adobe Photo shop/ Adobe XD/ Wireframe Moqup
Proficient in web markup including HTML5 CSS3
Fluency in product design tools
Competency with User testing.com or equivalent usability testing tools
