Rani Ki Vav (The Queen's Stepwell) is a remarkable stepwell located in Patan, near Modhera, Gujarat. It is an exceptional example of Indian subterranean architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Historical Significance

Built in the 11th century by Queen Udayamati in memory of her husband, King Bhimdev I of the Solanki dynasty.

It reflects the Maru-Gurjara architectural style, emphasizing intricate carvings and precision.

Architecture

Designed as an inverted temple, it showcases the importance of water in Indian culture.

The stepwell is 64 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 27 meters deep.

It has seven levels of stairs with over 500 intricately carved sculptures, depicting gods, goddesses, and mythological themes, primarily dedicated to Vishnu in various forms.

Served as a water reservoir and a place of worship.

Patient who is also a doctor came to with reduced mouth opening due to osmf and previous laser surgery on buccal mucosa of same side, asked for replacement of lower 6 and 7...

Mouth opening was measured 20mm only and very challenging to do lower second molar implant at that site because of stiff buccal muocsa and opposing tooth..

After third molar surgery implant placement was successfully done, patient was very much cooperative, thank you sir..
