We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives/Labourers to join our marquee hire team. This is a hands on role involving the setup and dismantling of marquees, as well as the delivery and collection of event furniture and equipment. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

-Erecting and dismantling marquees throughout the country
-Loading and unloading vans and trucks
-Delivering and collecting furniture and event equipment
-Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties
-Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

-Willingness to travel nationwide
-Ability to perform physically demanding manual work
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Good teamwork and communication skills

Desirable (but not essential):

-Full clean driver’s licence
-Manual Handling certification
-Safe Pass

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday
Occasional weekend work may be required

Sligo St. Patrick’s Festival 🍀🎶

We were proud to supply the marquee at Queen Maeve Square for a fantastic lineup of events, including the Music Generation Sligo Showcase, the Shamrock Shuffle with Scruffy Duffy and live performances from incredible acts like The Tumbling Paddies, The Dublin City Ramblers & One for the Road.

Our team delivered a fully equipped setup featuring:

✔️ Double door access & glass frontage
✔️ Safe entry with access ramps & barriers
✔️ Fire exit & flood lighting throughout
✔️ Additional marquee space for the bar area

From family fun and kids’ entertainment to packed evening concerts, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish 🙌

Huge thanks to the organisers and everyone who made it such a successful celebration, we were delighted to be part of it!

An interesting job to finish out the year.

On the 21st of December, the winter solstice, we had the privilege of providing a small marquee for RTÉ lyric fm live broadcast from Carrowmore. Set carefully within the boundary walls of Listoghil Cairn, the marquee provided a sheltered space for Ambient Orbit to perform.

Carrowmore is one of the oldest megalithic cemeteries in Europe, with monuments dating back more than 5,000 years. Listoghil Cairn sits at the heart of the site and has long been thought of as a place of gathering and ceremony, closely connected to the movement of the sun and the seasons.

As the year comes to a close, we just want to say another huge thank you to our incredible team and our loyal customers. Your hard work, trust and support have made this another successful year for our business and we’re genuinely grateful for every project, booking and conversation along the way.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to new opportunities, new challenges and another great year working side by side.
