We have been inundated with calls and messages asking us if we are closing down. While it might have caused some confusion, we want to clarify whats really happening.

The furniture business is winding down. The final clearance sale aims to clear out the stock to pave the way for a new venture. We hope you will like it.

Our cafe will remain open, and continue to operate.

Our store is open tuesdays to saturdays from 9 am to 5:30 pm and cafe from 9 am to 4 pm.

On sundays our store is open from 11 am to 5 pm & the cafe is open from 11 am to 4 pm.

The Elms has been in the McCarthy Family for over 60 years. My father was a cattle dealer from Cork and he started to buy and sell antiques in 1967 . Then we became an antique store with an auction rooms, my mom Geraldine ran the tea room and a shop. Then we pivoted to a new furniture store as tastes evolved regarding antiques . All changes happened at the right time.

That time is here again.
We don't know exactly what the next chapter looks like yet. But before we get there, everything in the store has to go.

There's live Ukulele Music, Kids' face painting, fresh produce, herbal remedies, fresh flowers, handmade crafts & much more.

Plenty of free parking space available. All ages welcome. Wheelchair friendly access available.
