Finally finished the Fireside Blanket, it was on pause for 8 weeks while I cracked on with the Canalboat CAL. Better pics soon, because I've not been feeling 100% for a few days. Both were made with which were a pleasure to work with, and the designer's colour choices for each pattern were fabulous.
Next on the hook is a shawl, using Hayfield Spirit DK, Autumn colours. It's an experiment, but I think the colour changes are going to work out really well! More to follow

My Attic24 Canalboat CAL "ta-daaa" moment!
Loved this whole project. Final border was in Sage, rather than the suggested Turquoise, simply because I love Sage more ❤
The yarn is Stylecraft Yarns Special DK, from Wool Warehouse which is washing machine and tumble dryer friendly, so perfect for making projects that will be in regular use.
And this will definitely be getting regular use!

It's Catch-Up Week on the Attic24 and I'm all caught up on that stripey blanket of gorgeousness! Rare for me haha!
This means that I have some time to wake the lovely Fireside Blanket project (also an Attic24 pattern) back up, and work on some borders. The Fireside blanket uses Stylecraft Yarns Highland Heather's DK yarn, from Wool Warehouse and I flipping love those colours!

Beautiful day here today, but the recent Storm Éowyn was an absolute beast. So much damage done to trees and buildings.
Many people all across the country are still without power and my heart goes out to them.
