These beautiful wooden boxes were once everyday household objects.
Used for many different reasons (travelling, medicine, documents etc) they were everywhere and so many survive in great condition because they were mainly handmade with durable woods and hardware with skill and attention to detail.

So this flow blue china wash bowl is now SOLD 😀 and was lovingly and happily reunited this weekend with its jug (a family heirloom) and is now sitting pretty on a Welsh dresser with it.
