Hi everyone, this is a tough post to put out there but I have decided to close the doors of Teach Alainn Designs at the end of November . Unfortunately it's no longer viable to keep the doors open despite trying to diversify and change things over the last year ..
Thanks to everyone who has come through the doors as a customer or just for the chat about what's in stock ..
I've had the privilege of working in some amazing places and on some amazing pieces of furniture .
I will be completing the projects I have ahead of me and why not pop in to the shop and pick up a little gem at a reduced price...
Thanks to my amazing family who have seen the highs and lows of being self employed over the last 2 years and I'm looking forward to another chapter in the Lee house.

This 1921 Singer sewing machine is in store now and for sale . It's been given a bit of TLC but still needs a bit of tinkering on the machine. Set in a beautiful solid oak frame with a working pedal and belt , this piece is a great display piece or side table and is ready to work if you have the time to work on the machine.

This stunning antique gilt overmantle mirror is nearly ready for the shop floor. After a few long evenings of removing the black gloss paint the true quality of this piece is evident to see .
Featuring the original bevelled edge mirror makes it all the better 🙂 pm for details or pop into the shop to view it.
