Work of Art Orphanage This orphanage/children's home was run by Xavier Renel, a local artist who, with the support of an American nurse Kathleen.

He took in over ten children, teaching them painting in oil and acrylic. This could be a work/life skill for these children. Haitian Orphanage run by local artist Xavier Renel located in Montrouis, Haiti, W.I. Xavier has been teaching orphans for over a decade but just recenty decided at 38 years of age to start up an orphanage as well. He and his extended family are the caretakers and teachers

single five room cinder block home with large yard; without plumbing, electricity, kitchen, or their own transportation. Only two tables, four beds and outside kitchen with three charcoal braziers do have one small tv that works on battery but need generator and storage batteries

Produits

Paintings, some by children 11-17 and others by teachers. They are on canvas, scrap material or fiberboard and are oil/acrylic. Some are mounted on gator board suitable for framing, or we can do simple wood support framing for you if desired.
