The 70th anniversary celebration of the Hong Kong Furniture and Decoration Trade Association (HKF&DA) concluded successfully on 25 February, 2025. This celebration followed the "HK + FR: Furniture For World Design" exhibition held in Paris earlier this year, marking a perfect beginning for this year's events.
The event was graced by the presence of renowned Hong Kong design masters, including Tommy Li and Victor Wong, who joined the celebratory dinner. Their participation not only added prestige to the occasion but also emphasized the creative talent and expertise within Hong Kong's design community.

香港傢俬裝飾廠商總會（HKF&DA）的70週年慶典標誌著一個重要的里程碑，並突顯了今年「香港+法國：置家具 • 致未來」項目的重要性。這項計劃彰顯了香港在全球傢俬設計與創新中的角色。

文創產業發展處總監Victor Tsang (曾昭學先生)，也出席了此次活動。他的參與進一步凸顯了香港政府及相關機構對創意產業和設計領域的支持與重視；而且更有其他商會蒞臨給予鼓勵和支持，為活動增添了更多官方及各界的認可與影響力。

此外，Maison&Objet的代表也出席了慶典。他們的到來進一步鞏固了香港在傢俬與設計行業中的全球影響力。這次週年慶典見證了HKF&DA的悠久歷史及其在推動設計創新與合作方面的承諾。

The 70th anniversary celebration of the Hong Kong Furniture & Decoration Association (HKF&DA) marked a significant milestone, highlighting the importance of the "HK+FR: Furniture for the World Design" project this year. This initiative underscores Hong Kong's role in global furniture design and innovation.

Victor Tsang , the Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries, CCIDAHK, also attended the event. His participation further highlighted the support and recognition from the Hong Kong government and related organizations for the creative industries and design sector. Additionally, representatives from other associations were present to offer encouragement and support, adding official endorsement and influence on the occasion.

Additionally, representatives from Maison&Objet, a leading international authority in design and lifestyle, attended the celebration. Their presence further solidified the global recognition of Hong Kong's contributions to the furniture and design industry.

This anniversary celebration served as a testament to HKF&DA's enduring legacy and its commitment to encouraging innovation and collaboration in the world of design.

「香港＋法國：置家具・致未來」- 香港傢具及設計2025年1月在巴黎Maison&Objet大放異彩

在2025年1月16日至20日，我們在巴黎舉辦了「香港＋法國：置家具・致未來」展覽。很榮幸邀請到文創產業專員曾昭學先生蒞臨開幕剪綵並致辭，對本次展覽給予了大力支持和鼓勵。
此外，團隊還進行了一系列交流活動，包括參加La French by VIA的交流夜和參觀Carpenter Workshop Gallery。為了促進法國與香港的交流，並感謝各單位的參與及支持，我們亦舉辦了一個交流聚會和聚餐，參與者度過了一個既有意思又愉快的晚上。
整個項目的目標是為行業帶來新靈感，促進跨文化的交流與合作，並展示香港設計界在全球舞台上的創意、實力和競爭力。總會將於2025年迎來成立70週年的里程碑，巴黎之旅僅是新里程的開始，未來將更為精彩。

“HK+FR : Furniture For World Design” shined at Maison&Objet Paris Jan 2025
From January 16 to 20, 2025, we held the exhibition “HK+FR : Furniture For World Design” in Paris. We were honored to invite Mr. Victor Tsang, Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries, to officiate the opening ceremony and deliver a speech, providing strong support and encouragement for this exhibition.
Additionally, the team participated in a series of delegation activities, including joining the La French by VIA’s networking night and visiting the Carpenter Workshop Gallery. To promote exchange between France and Hong Kong and to thank all parties for their participation and support, we also organized a networking gathering and dinner, where participants enjoyed a meaningful and pleasant evening.
The goal of the entire project is to bring new inspiration to the industry, promote cross-cultural exchange and collaboration, and showcase the creativity, strength, and competitiveness of Hong Kong's design community on the global stage. HKF&DA will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2025, and the Paris trip marks the beginning of our new journey, with even more exciting developments ahead.

「香港＋法國：置家具・致未來」- 首度參展巴黎時尚家居設計展Maison&Objet 2025

HKF&DA與香港製造商、知名本地設計大師，和海外設計人才攜手合作，創作出富創意及具備市場吸引力的產品。團隊經過一年多的籌劃和安排，合作聯乘產品終於在2025年1月在巴黎舉辦的Maison&Objet成功展出。主辦單位HKF&DA邀請了四位本地知名設計大師 _– _何宗憲先生、李永銓先生、馬偉明先生和黃宏達先生，每位設計師在室內設計、品牌設計、時尚設計和跨媒體設計領域皆為領軍人物，同時邀請2023及2024年度巴黎Maison&Objet「Rising Talent Awards」大獎得主參與此次展覽，他們分別是Sébastien Cluzel & Morgane Pluchon（CLUZEL / PLUCHON），Nelson Fossy（Index Office），Jenna Kaës，Line Pierron & Raphaël Cuevas （Line & Raphaël）及Felix Rasehorn & Robin Hoske （WINT Design Lab）。

“FR : Furnitre For World Design” at Maison&Objet Paris 2025

HKF&DA collaborates with Hong Kong manufacturers, renowned local design masters, and overseas design talents to create innovative and market-attractive products. After more than a year of planning and arrangements, the collaborative products were successfully showcased at Maison&Objet in Paris in January 2025. As the organizer, HKF&DA, invited four well-known local design masters - Mr. Joey Ho, Mr. Tommy Li, Mr. Walter Ma, and Mr. Victor Wong - each a leader in their respective fields of interior design, brand design, fashion design, and cross-media design. Additionally, the 2023 and 2024 Paris Maison&Objet "Rising Talent Awards" winners were invited to participate in this exhibition, including Sébastien Cluzel & Morgane Pluchon (CLUZEL / PLUCHON), Nelson Fossy (Index Office), Jenna Kaës, Line Pierron & Raphaël Cuevas (Line & Raphaël), and Felix Rasehorn & Robin Hoske (WINT Design Lab).
