Another completed timber repair job in York.
I've repaired quite a few sliding sash windows in the last 26 years as a joiner. But this one is first. These windows have a sliding sash shutter that retracts into the cill cavity.

Another media wall project completed.
This one went to cocoa works in York.
It measures 2.4m tall and approximately 2.1m wide. With push release door catches and no touch sensor to operate the lighting.

Customer wanted use this space which was wasted as storage and turn it into a downstairs cloak room for guests and grandkids.

Another rotten floor.
Lack of airflow in the subfloor causing the area to sweat. The external walls where cold to the touch.
The cold walls along with lack of ventilation causing black mold. The moisture had gotten into the plasterboard causing what looked like rising damp on the external walls.
At the request of the client I installed a chemical damp proof course. In The living room I cleared out the air vents installed a couple of telescopic air vents replaced several joists and the floorboards along with 75mm insulation between the joists.
The bedroom floor was too far gone and needed to be completely replaced to the same spec as living room.
