American black walnut bookshelves with storage cupboards and drawers.

All made and installed by us at hff.
Lower cabinets contain a mix of shelving and drawers - we were asked to design the cabinet primarily to enable the storage of clients books but also they wanted to store their record player and records within the cupboards so they could access them easily - we created a bespoke drawer to house records and also a pull out drawer above for the record player, all hidden away behind doors when not in use.

Fitted wardrobes with drawers and floating shelving.
A tricky installation for this project as all floors and walls were well out of level.
Looks great with the squared out finger pull handles routed into the doors and drawer fronts.

Home office - tall cabinet with adjustable shelving, American black walnut desk with floating shelf above and small cabinet below housing a pull out shelf for a printer.

First project of the year ready for spraying - a home office with both spray finished and oiled components - starting with priming all bare mdf today.
Using for the doors to give a perfect finger pull detail once sprayed.

Media unit with bar - running along a 4500mm long wall, designed to house a large television, books and other items - two sliding doors conceal two bar areas with lighting, mirror backs and glass shelves.
Large push to open soft close drawers built into the lower cabinets.
A pleasure to work on this for one of our wonderful clients.

Hallway cabinet -
Oiled Oak interior, bench top and drawers. Colour matched spray finish to all other components.
Solid oak dovetailed drawers in lower section running on blum movento push to open soft close runners.
Upper section to contain adjustable shelving in side sections with fixed shelves fitted above centre.

We've had our Wadkin surface planer since moving to our Eynsham workshop 5yrs ago and it has been faultless no matter what we have put it through (or pushed over it!)
Built around 1920 by Wadkin&Co in Leicester it has stood the test of time.
Owning and using a machine this well engineered is a genuine pleasure 🙂.

Our latest finished project - A bespoke wardrobe with Oak veneered interior and colour matched spray finished exterior.

This was designed to replace our clients existing wardrobe.

They had requested a timber interior with lighting to illuminate all areas of the wardrobe so we have added .official loox lighting strips to each side which are activated with a sensor switch built into the cabinet.

Soft close drawers and doors as standard for us along with k***s to finish them off perfectly.

Another of our recent projects -

Bespoke wardrobe with an American black walnut veneered interior, spray finished satin finish colour matched lacquer exterior.

It was such a pleasure to produce this wardrobe for one of our wonderful clients, going above and beyond to help them achieve just what they wanted.

The cabinets have a combination of removable hanging rails and adjustable shelves giving full flexibility with the ability to change interior layout as needed in the future.

Main cabinets have been constructed using dartmoor range American black walnut veneered boards supplied by - using these boards gives us a consistent colour to work with.

Solid American black walnut timber drawers added to the central cabinet are stunning - the addition of two full length mirrors to the doors really show off the hand cut dovetail joints on the drawers.

We were asked to make the shelves adjustable whilst keeping the weight down to allow them to be moved freely. To achieve this we chose walnut faced plywood from , a superb, lightweight super strong product which worked perfectly.

The cabinet interior is finished with dark oak hard wax oil from to give a darker tint from the American black walnut base colour.

One of our recent projects -

Our client had asked us to create a low sideboard for storage and also they wanted to house their existing electric fire within which had special meaning to them.

Our design was built around using this fire as a centrepiece, we have added subtle features such as raised panel doors along with brass k***s and brass butt hinges to add an element of tradition and class whilst keeping the fire as the main feature.

We added a solid Oak full length worktop to match the flooring in the room (oak supplied by )and colour matched the main cabinet and doors with a satin lacquer to our clients preferred colour using FF lacquer from and

Such a pleasure to make another piece of furniture which really makes a positive difference to a room.

Designed, made and spray finished by us in our Eynsham workshop 🙂.
