Job Title: Labouring Hand / Improver
Location: Romsey
Goodwood Kitchens are a kitchen fitting specialist based in the Romsey area. We have a good reputation for efficiency and keen eye for detail.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Labouring Hand / Improver to join our team on exciting construction projects in Hampshire. This role offers a great opportunity to learn valuable skills, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to building projects.
Responsibilities will be to:
assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks on site.
Move materials, equipment, and tools around the site safely and efficiently.
Operate machinery and equipment as needed, following safety guidelines.
Participate in site preparation and cleanup, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as they become available.
Requirements:
Good physical fitness and stamina.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Previous experience in construction is a plus, but not essential.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic is essential.
Driving licence is a bonus, not essential as long as applicant can get to our office in North Baddesley.
Cscs card also a bonus but can be arranged upon starting.
Starting pay at £12.60 per hour/ £95 per day
