Art For Art's Sake...🤗

ICYMI The Amazing Mrs Rescue's (TM) Mum moved recently.

All the practical stuff is sorted but she needed to put her stamp on the place.

So we took her shopping last Saturday for a smorgasbord of gentle, age appropriate art and some other pieces with a more modern aesthetic....

She was unsure in some cases but...

She's absolutely delighted, totally grateful and in spite of her saying "Actually, Matt, you were right." the credit is all hers. 👌🏼

One In A Million...💜

Back with regular client "CD" and her incredible daughter "T" in LA this morning.

"T" has some VERY specific needs and health conditions, some potentially life threatening, but Mum tackles it all head on, celebrates every aspect of their life, and the frequent precious moments they share. 🌈

Honestly this wee girl puts the "extra" into "special"! 👌🏼

And when "T" realised my shirt was the same colour as the Play Leaders at the hospital she insisted on giving me a hug!*💜

I've never been more honoured! 🙇🏼‍♀️🥲

Oh, yeah, also built some IKEA "Kallax" and put up some shelves.

I put up several IKEA "Idånas" units in their bedroom last year, today more of the same for "J"'s home office space. 👌🏼

A nifty desk with mixed storage and hidden cable management, a low sideboard with doors and drawers and a mid-height cupboard which he plans to fill with vintage vinyl. 😎* Kindred spirits for sure.
