Hey guys! This is my most recent piece but I need a little help deciding on what colour I should paint the draws. I’ve sanded down the outside and applied Frenchic clear wax. The draws didn’t sand as nicely as the outside otherwise if they did I would leave them as I love the outer effect.
However, now I have to paint them and I can’t decide. I’m leaning more towards a darker blue/green but maybe it needs to be lighter like the wood on the outside? What do you guys think? Let me know! X

Hey guys long time no see! I’ve been travelling the world but I’ve come back and got myself a part time job so I’m hoping to get back into upcycling. Here is a latest piece that I managed to pick up at the charity shop! It has been sanded back, painted in Frenchics Olivia Al Fresco paint and then sealed, finished off with gold accessories. It is on display at The Emporium down at Nene Court, Wellingborough.

Last upcycle for a while 🥲

So this is going to be my last piece for a while as I’m putting Revamp’t on hold for a few months! Why you may ask? For as long as I can remember I have wanted to travel the world so, in exactly 4 days me and my boyfriend will be travelling to Scandinavia for the next 3 months! I am beyond excited and I can’t wait to follow my dreams! I am sad about leaving Revamp’t behind but I know it’s gonna be waiting for me when I get back! I’ll still post on my stories so you guys can see what I’m getting up to but it won’t be furniture related and not as regular! Love to you all and I’ll see you when we get back ✈️

Mint green dream 💚

Grey trio of nests 🖤

Again another quick flip from me over here at Revamp’t. I love these simple flips they sometimes give the best results. This particular piece was gifted to me from a family friend. I love getting pieces off friends and family who like to recycle it rather than throwing it away! Who agrees?

Say chic🤩

This is one of my quickest and most simplest flips but I can’t get over how big of a transformation it is! I absolutely love it! Some of these upcycles can be so simple and so effective when you think about it. Sometimes all it takes is a lick of paint🎨

Something different…

I went for something completely different on this piece! I took inspiration from another furniture account on instagram! It’s a process called white washing! It’s basically a quick and easy process to transform your pieces! All you need to do is water down your white paint, paint it on as lightly as possible, then simply wipe away. Giving you this sleek white washed paint affect. Hope you all enjoy and let me know what you think! 👀

White beauties 🤍

Hello my lovelies, here is my latest piece that I started before my holiday and couldn’t wait to finish as soon as I got home! I love nesting tables, I think they are a great addition to anyones home!

I painted the legs of the tables Frenchics ‘Dazzle Me, then I sanded back the tops of the tables to give them more of the natural look. To finish I applied Annie Sloan’s chalk dark wax. I love this natural, clean, sleek finish and I am totally in love🥰😍

I painted it in Frenchics ‘Salt of the Earth’, then I left the face of the drawers natural and applied clear Matt oil. What do we all think? I love it and would love it in my home 🏡

Little bit of sunshine ☀️

Something to brighten up your Wednesday, this is my latest flip and I’ve gone for a happy yellow to say that I want Spring to hurry up!

I’ve painted it in Frenchics ‘Hot as Mustard’, then I left the top drawer and waxed that using a dark wax by Annie Sloan. To finish off the drawers I got this beautiful wallpaper from my local B&Q which is a dark blue which has a gold palm tree print on it. I am in love!! Happy Wednesday everyone! ❤️
