T H I S is M E. Sitting on a beautiful limestone rock in an olive grove in Puglia. Captured by my mini me. Two weeks away from the UK and pressing reset before a busy summer ahead. Italy is truly wonderful. The Puglian landscape, the history, the food and the wine, all spectacular. And with a special shout out to the amazingly delicious €1.24 calzone I’ve just devoured - purchased from the local supermarket deli counter. (Best not get me started on what an absolute rip off the UK is.) “Cerca sempre il tuo sole.” 🇮🇹💚🇮🇹

Delighted with this recent design being brought to life by Pearson Garden Projects I designed the space to meet the client’s brief wishing for a garden that allows for entertaining and relaxing whilst enhancing the planting to create interest across the year. The garden features an outdoor kitchen with Gozney pizza oven, BBQ and Pergolux wall fix pergola. There is a bespoke built fire pit and seating area with new patios using Indian sandstone & herringbone slimline pavers. Feature screens in a previous dark corner of the garden are the backdrop to a new water feature which can be heard & enjoyed from the sunbathing patio. Abundant planting invites in pollinators and new feature trees add height and interest.

DELIGHTED with how this garden transformation is looking in Altrincham. From an astroturfed space to a gravel garden full of plants for pollinators, a bespoke Corten steel water feature as well as raised planters against a fresh, new backdrop, this grown up outdoor space allows the client to enjoy relaxation and tranquility whilst being the perfect garden for entertaining.

The original Indian stone paving had failed, so this was all lifted, cleaned and relaid to the correct British Standards. Raised brick planters tie in with the style of the house, and the gravel provides a low maintenance aesthetic that looks stunning.

And how good do the panels look painted black! The perfect backdrop for the beautiful green of the Acer dissectum. We just need a bit of warmth now for the Hakonechloa to put on a show.

New project design concepts signed off today. Swipe to see the current garden. A new new blank canvas which is wider than it is deep. There will be trees which provide screening as well as interest across the year whilst giving birds a place to rest & feed. A statement water feature will soothe the senses on the extended patio and a bespoke feature screen will provide privacy and a space for climbing plants. Abundant planting that is easy to manage will provide colour whilst inviting in the pollinators. A feature corner herringbone paver patio with a pergola will give the client an additional space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Can’t wait to see this built later in the year!

IT’S ON ITS WAY. The signs of spring and summer are showing their new growth and colour. Won’t be long until we are basking in the glory of longer and brighter days. This new build garden in Wilmslow was lawn, fence and paving before it was designed to become a haven for wildlife and a sanctuary for its owners. Designed by

Well this is exciting / nerve wrecking! Delighted to have been shortlisted for the Business Awards 2026 in the Garden Designer category. It’s almost exactly six years to the day since I launched the business and to be shortlisted in these business awards with fellow designers who I massively respect and admire feels quite surreal. Examples of initial concepts for a client in Chelford, Cheshire. The 2D layout plan helps communicate the space and options as a point for discussion and feedback. This is presented along side a mood board of materials and planting inspiration. Following this stage the chosen route is worked up to show details of materials and planting plans along with enhanced 3D visuals to assist with bringing the design to life.

Client: “I find it really hard to visualise what things are going to look like.” With every 2D flat plan comes a 3D visual to help my clients interpret the design in a spacial capacity. Along with a mood board of materials and plants as well as samples of products, the client is able to gain a better understanding about how the design will work in realisation to their house and in the overall space.

Reasons to appoint professionals to design & build your garden space. Don’t let rogue traders pull the wool over your eyes. I cannot believe the state of this garden after the client has been scammed by horrible people presenting themselves as professional & credible landscapers.
