MAKE ART NOT WAR - charity raffle:

It’s been hard to know what to do in this moment. The war in Ukraine is very close to our heart, but all suffering that is happening as a result of war right now is heart breaking and horrifying.

So we are hosting a raffle for this original 1976 Joan Miró Exhibition poster with all proceeds going to be split between Palestine, Somalia and Ukraine (following in ’s footsteps) who’s people are also facing hardship, persecution and war.

Original lithograph print poster from 1976 Joan Miró exhibition in Barcelona, Parc de Mojuïc. Tickets are £5 (purchased through our website) and 100% of the proceeds will go to selected charities for the countries mentioned above. Poster value is £230, each ticket will enter you into a raffle, so the more tickets you buy, the better chance of winning! Winner will be announced Sunday 13th of March.

Picasso’s ‘Dove of Peace’ - Christmas 1995 very rare collectors plate 🕊

After the completion of the Guernica, which is considered to be one of the world’s most moving anti-war paintings, Picasso was asked to create an image to symbolise Peace. (Slide 2: Picasso painting the Guernica)

Having already created a huge body of work, from very large scale pieces to small, intimate drawings, across a broad spectrum of mediums and disciplines, he set to work. The final result was a small and delicate graphic line drawing depicting a dove bearing an olive branch. Picasso went on to name his fourth child ‘Paloma’ which is Spanish for dove.
