It’s Volunteers’ Week (1 to 7 June) and we’re celebrating the amazing difference residents make to their local community and environment🌟👏

From the Uxbridge Green Gym (UGG), where volunteers protect local wildlife and learn hands-on conservation skills, to the Friends of Southlands Garden (FoSG), who are restoring the historic space for people and nature to enjoy💚🌳

Interested in getting involved? All gardening abilities are welcome🪏

🔵UGG meet every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm, behind the Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Centre
🟣FoSG meet every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am to noon at Southlands Arts Centre.

We've installed new lighting to give this local landmark a modern refresh💡

It was delivered using £39,100 of funding from the HS2 Ltd Amenity Fund, a pool of money provided by HS2 to support improvement projects in communities affected by its construction works🏗️🚧
