flatpackmonkey.com finished on Saturday 28th February.

It’s been a brilliant chapter, meeting so many lovely customers and taking on some really interesting assemblies along the way. Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their builds and supported the journey.

This really is goodbye to flatpackmonkey.com — but not goodbye from me.

After more than 15 years 🛠️ of assembling thousands of flatpack items 🪑 across Cornwall & Devon 📍, I’ve made the difficult decision to close FlatpackMonkey.com at the end of January 2026 🗓️.

This isn’t just a business update or a short break, it’s the end of a chapter I’m proud of 📖. The economy has shifted 📉, and it’s time for change 🔄, but I remain deeply grateful 🙏 for every customer 👥, every 5‑star review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, and every moment of builder‑led precision 🔧 we’ve shared.

We are still quoting 📝, designing ✏️, assembling 🪛, and installing 🛋️ until the close ✅, and may extend operations if needed to ensure a respectful finish.

This customer had been let down time and again left waiting while the job stalled, living off pot noodles in the meantime.

Flatpackmonkey doesn’t normally do kitchens, but in Paignton, Devon we went back to install a Howdens kitchen and flooring. We’d already assembled the unit for another fitter, but when the job kept falling through, we stepped in.

Not the easiest of jobs, with nothing square to work from, but finished with builder‑led care and precision.

From first assembly to final piece, we’re there when others walk away.
