Handcrafted dining tables with a story to tell.

Crafted from reclaimed Victorian, and occasionally Georgian pine sourced from local manor houses, churches, railway stations and factories across Nottinghamshire, each piece carries its own story, shown in the patina, the flecks of old paint and the character that only time can create.

From farmhouse to banqueting length, every table is solid, lovingly made and built to last.

Current pieces can be viewed in my showroom opposite the workshop at Holly Farm, Thoroton.

Door & Furniture Stripping and Restoration. Local (Nottinghamshire), Fast & Professional

Bring your doors and furniture back to life - enhance the natural beauty.

Whether you’d like them stripped ready to paint, or fully restored, waxed and hand-polished, we can help.

Stripping
Pine and oak doors strip beautifully in our hot caustic tank, the warmth speeds up the process and helps preserve the integrity of the wood.
• £45 per single door
• 4 or more price reduction to £40 each

Polishing & Refinishing
Once air-dried, every door is sanded smooth, any imperfections repaired, and finished with two coats of superior wax, then polished by hand for a rich, natural sheen (double-sided). This is an additional service, add

Other Items
We can also remove paint from metal, aluminium and cast-iron pieces – from fire surrounds to fittings.

📞 Please note: All door furniture and handles should be removed before collection (hinges can stay on).

I have for sale (in my showroom) an authentic piece of Harrods history - this original 1960s wooden packing crate hails from The Depositories, Barnes, London SW7.

Stamped with the classic Harrods branding, it carries the marks and character of decades past with it's scuffs, age, and all.

We provide a number of specialist door restoration choices, whatever the age of your doors (pictured are 1950’s). The process starts with the removal of paint, stain or varnish.

If you wish the natural beauty of the wood to shine through they are then fully sanded before two coats of superior quality wax polish is applied and hand polished to create a rich and tactile finish. Visit our website for prices and details.
