A huge THANK YOU to Managing Director Jason Bennett and the Pure Cold Solutions Ltd team have raised an amazing amount of money for British Heart Foundation. A charity football game and raffle was organised in memory of Jason's Father, Michael Bennett. Michael sadly lost his battle with heart disease and passed away earlier in 2023. The fundraising work being done in Michael’s name is an honour to his memory. I’m sure he would be extremely proud of the incredible achievement.

Pure Cold Solutions are fast growing company with many of the well-known names as their customers. We work on a variety of equipment, from small bottle coolers to large VRV air conditioning systems.

So, if you are bored where you are, why not come and join our friendly and professional team and have a new challenge every day.

We require an experienced engineer to join our busy service team. The work is commercial refrigeration and air conditioning working in small convenience stores, care homes, public houses, restaurants and hotels.

The individual must have at least 5 years’ experience working on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning and must have F Gas and Hydrocarbon qualification.

Your normal working hours would be 8½ hours per day Monday to Friday.

Salary is based on the experience of the individual and can be discussed.

The individual would also be eligible for additional payments as follows:
Overtime
a. Monday to Friday – overtime would be paid after you have worked over 8.5 hours per day, all overtime in this period will be paid at 1½ times your normal hourly rate.
b. Saturday – overtime for this period would be paid at 1½ times your normal hourly rate.
c. Sunday - overtime for this period would be paid at 1½ times your normal hourly rate
d. Bank Holidays – overtime for this period would be paid at 1½ times your normal hourly rate. You would also get a day in lieu, which can only be taken with the agreement of their line manager.
e. Standby cover

Standby is on a rota basis and is based on 1 in 4 but can change depending on the needs of the company.

The nature of this appointment means that the individual would be based from home, although you would be required to travel extensively to Customer premises and additionally may be required to travel to one of our Company Offices from time to time.

The company would provide you with the following:
• Vehicle (Van) (Temporary vehicle for first 3 months)
• Mobile phone
• Fuel card
• Uniform
• Specialist tools associated with the trade (but not your trade tools which you would be expected to supply yourself)
• Personal Protective Equipment

The vehicle can used for personnel use, at a current rate of 19p per mile (this can change depending on external costs).

There would be a 3-month probationary period during which time either the individual or the Company can terminate the employment on one week’s notice. In exceptional circumstances the Company has the right to extend your probationary period by up to a further 3 months.

After satisfactory completion of the individual’s probationary period the notice period would increase to 1 month from the individual and one month from the Company and the individual will be invited to join the Company Pension Scheme.
The Company will contribute 4% of base salary to this. The individual contribution will need to be set at a minimum in accordance with legislation.

The individual will be entitled to 25 days holiday per year plus statutory holidays. A maximum of 10 days plus statutory holidays can be taken between the 1st June and August 31st annually.

We require an individual with proven years of experience in working on a busy service desk.

The role is receiving and logging works, managing customers’ expectations, allocating works to engineers, updating the works systems and much more.

The hours of working in the office are but this may vary depending on which shift pattern you are given.

· Monday 08:30 to 17:00

· Tuesday 08:30 to 17:00

· Wednesday 08:00 to 17:00

· Thursday 08:30 to 19:00

· Friday 08:30 to 17:00

The role also includes handling emergency calls out of the office working hours, this is done on a rota basis with the other controller.

Good I.T skills and telephone manner are essential.

You are entitled to 20 days holiday per year and time of in lieu if it falls on a Bank Holiday. Holiday entitlement increases to 25 days after 2 years continuous service.
