Attended this Mk8 Ford Transit Custom today for both front wheel bearing/hub replacements.

Was a wet miserable day 🌧️ but was delighted that all the hub bolts came out without snapping or rounding as they're terrible for playing buggers, so although it was pouring down on me, I still felt satisfied and happy with the outcome 😎

Back out to this Seat Ibiza this morning for another jump start.

I actually came back in the evening to replace the battery so the owner no longer has to deal with iffy startings again.

Unfortunately tho, was done in a rush as they were stuck on a fuel station forcourt so didn't take any photos.

Never the less, jumped and replaced the battery 💪

Ended the evening with the recovery of this BMW 330D from South Petherton to Cardiff.

The customer recently bought the motor and on the way home struck a fox that punctured the radiator 😬.

Left the key for me in a safe location and found another way home where I met him at home a few hours later with his newly purchased motor on tow.

Carried out a straight bar recovery on this Mk7 MWB Ford Transit this afternoon from Ilminster services to Torquay.

Telegraph hill was a nightmare as per usual, however the remainder of the recovery wasn't too shabby.

Managed to get the van into position once back at the customer home so it could be parked as required.

Started the day off with a jumpstart of this Seat Ibiza in Cotford St Luke.

Ironically this chap and his partner both had flat batteries this morning and the inquiry of his partner for their jumpstart led to this jumpstart 😂.

Drop tested the battery prior to linking to my service van, making sure it was under voltage and not just adding unnecessary voltage.

Once started I carried out an alternator check to make sure the battery was receiving adequate charge.

All seeming well, recommend just to leave running or take for a drive to charge the battery as I'm sure an interior light or side light was left on overnight that drained the battery.

Called out to this Ford Galaxy tonight between Taunton and Tiverton.

The fuel pump packed up starving the engine.

So taken to the owners home in Wiveliscombe pending repairs further down the line.

On the way back from Blandford this afternoon (coming from a vehicle inspection at a Royal Marines base/camp, that I wasn't able to photograph).

I came across this little silver Citroen pretty much on its side precariously leaning against some brush down a embankment on a curved section of road.

I stopped, to aid. I closed both live lanes holding the traffic as I situated my van across the road.

I linked up my winch and carefully eased the Citroen back into the tarmac. Then i moved it up to a layby, reopened the road, loaded it onto my CRT and carted it back to the owners home 😎.
