🌊 SEA DIP IN DRAGØR 🌊

Dragør is the name of the city where I grew up in. Here, I've taken most of my swims over summer and sometimes been challenged to go in over winter. It has a sauna - for members - overlooking the sea and is just the perfect place to relax an rejuvenate.

Just like Wales, Denmark is also battling a very cold spell so this dip was quite refreshing. When you see my fingers, you can tell that they would have enjoyed a little sauna after this dip.

🍀 ANTI-INFLAMMATORY BREAKFAST 🍀

As previously mentioned, Nordic Hut is going to be all about wellness in nature and health.

I have always loved cooking healthy food and since discovering that I have an autoimmune illness, the anti-inflammatory kitchen has been a huge interest of mine. I'm currently undertaking a course about this and this was my delicious breakfast.

Mango and pineapple smoothie with cashew nuts, lemon juice and peel, raw ginger and raw turmeric. Topped with different seeds and mint. It was delicious! Healthy and extra anti-inflammatory thanks to the lemon, ginger and turmeric.

Yet another amazing reward is up for grabs. has generously donated a block of 4 weeks of classes. With this you can come to any of their classes (they have a choice of 7 different classes Monday-Friday and will shortly be doing a Saturday class as well).

Having the support from local businesses truly means so much to us. We are incredibly grateful for these donations.

The word about Nordic Hut seems to go around, but we still have a little way to go before we hit our target. We have therefore decided to keep the Crowdfunder live until the 13th of June.

🏊‍♀️ SEA SWIMMING 🏊‍♂️

Sea swimming is known to have a number af amazing health benefits. There have been several cases where regular sea swimming have fought stress and depression.

But that's just a few of the amazing benefits sea swimming has, it:

🌊 Strengthens muscles
🌊 Increases endurance
🌊 Boosts skin health
🌊 Improves the mood

For many people, including myself, diving into freezing cold water, on a cold day, doesn't sound appealing. It is however my hope that having a sauna, as a sort of "reward" for going in, will make more people inclined to try the amazing benefits of sea swimming. If not, sauna has plenty of health benefit in itself.

This is incredible! Thank you so much to all of you who's been supporting both in donations, pledges and just from spreading the word about us. We are so grateful to the local businesses that have supported as well. (Hoogah, Brynmill Coffee House, Progress Surf School)
