My woodworking business has been busy and I have upgraded a few machines, guitar production not so much, although I am making a resonator guitar currently. But I have news:

New for 2021: My workshop will be running mostly from solar/battery storage power!

The battery is already installed and will draw power from night-time mains when supply is high and demand is low.
The solar panels will supply in the daytime, or charge the battery, or feed back into the national grid, meaning the electricity used will be as eco-friendly (and cheap) as currently possible.

After some delay from a long term health condition I am going to be up and running again in the new year 2019!
The guitars are on their way.

Below is some yew wood, with a perfect patina, taken out halfway through the drying process for a month or two and given some moisture and a little air to bring out the oxidizing colours with fungal spalting giving character. This is the true hidden vibrancy and colour character of yew when exposed to UV light. It has now gone back in the drying shed to slowly air dry for another two years for perfect stability.

This is my latest project - it is a private project but I thought I'd share it here. It is based on a Maple Fender Jazz Bass - which was cut in half - the two halves were then glued onto an extra-long & wider neck to create the 6-string Fretless Through-Neck Bass that you see in the photos.
I also added one of my headstock designs and changed around the base of the fretboard and pick-guard (which is not shown in the photos) to fit with the custom-design.
I will upload some photos to show how I made it and maybe some sound clips with permission of the new owner.

This is my store of salvaged timber, consisting of trees cut down before I was even born when regulations on exotic wood imports were even dodgier than they are at present. There's all-sorts in here from 12 Victorian pianos to English holly and yew trees that were brought down in the great-gale (hurricane) of 1987.
