Bit of suspension fine tuning on the jobs list today.

Suspension servicing is very technical and requires specific tools and materials. This is why we use Sussed Out Suspension for any suspension service and setup to get the best out of the suspension and bike set up.

Having discovered the Ravens Outdoor stem dock the bars and spacers can be safely stowed away during the fork removal (thanks to Slime Cycleworks and Doddy MTB for the recommendation!).

Looking forward to getting the forks back and shredding in the sunshine.

Keep it clean!

Customer reported brakes and gears not working.

Over oiling and lack of cleaning has led to build up of dirt and grime on the chain, cassette and guide pulleys. This resulted in the chain barely being able to move through the gears let alone index correctly!

Overspray from the chain lubrication contaminated the brake disc rotors and pads causing a total lack of friction and braking power.

Always clean your drive train before applying fresh lubricant otherwise this will happen!

If using a spray lubricant for your chain, make sure to cover the brake components and braking surface.

Huge thanks to the The Cycle Division Ltd for getting a last minute order out to us overnight for this morning! New wheel now fitted to customer’s bike ready for the weekend.

Suzy, Val and the team have been one of our key suppliers from the start and are always happy to help - even when I call up immediately after an order to add forgotten items!

Thanks also to Carl for securely packing our latest order and the little note to let us know where our parts are!

What a scorcher!

The workshop is now closed for a well deserved break until Monday 01 June.

We will endeavour to keep up with messages and requests for work but will probably be out riding and enjoying the time off!

Thank to all of our customers new and old for trusting us with your pride and joy. We look forward to welcoming you back to the workshop when we’re back!

Great to get to work on a fleet of adaptive cycles ready for the bank holiday.

No van today (thank you to the gear box) so had to ‘improvise, adapt and overcome’ (thank you to Gunny Highway) to get the jobs done.

Really fun day working on a fleet of adaptive bikes to keep cycling accessible and ready for some bank holiday sunshine.

Looks like the sun is making an appearance so the team are off for a ride to reset for next week!
