Every mantel we make is built by hand in our Billingham workshop — cut, jointed, planed, sanded, finished and paired with a handmade bracket.

🚨 WE'VE MOVED! 🔨
After 5 years at our Skinner Street workshop, AB Woodworking has officially moved to 8 Lagonda Court, Billingham!
We're still getting the new workshop set up, but it's already starting to feel like home. 🪵
This is another big step for us, and we're excited to see what we can create from here.
From starting in a garden shed back in 2016 to now having our own workshop in Billingham… it's been some journey!

After 5 years at our Skinner Street workshop, we’ve packed up the tools and moved into our new workshop at:

📍 8 Lagonda Court, Billingham

It’s a big step forward for us and gives us much more space to take on bigger projects, create more handmade furniture and keep growing the business.

Question to our customers and followers:

Were currently in the process of building a new website, it will be an online store to make it easier to order products from us. We will still have our bespoke furniture though.

Would you guys like to see us start of offer soft furnishings in the future on this website? This will be things like cushioned dining chairs, sofas, mattresses etc.

Dining table legs screwed and glued for a customers handmade round dining table. High quality PSE with half-lap joints for the stretcher at the bottom. It's coming together well and its been fun making it so far.
