It's been a long time since I have shared anything that I have made. My wife has been asking for some house shaped bookends for at least 2 years. It's only now that I have got the workshop to a decent(ish) state that I have been able to have a think about these.

These are lovely simple bookends made from iroko or another mahogany variant as the pieces are recycled from an old school lab benches.

I am looking forward to getting back into the workshop and it was so nice to have something go from start to finish in a short space of time as well.

I created a thing. Well actually I built a real life torch.
I used solid quartersawn oak and I 3D printed a translucent top piece which was removable using magnets, that way you can get to the bulb.
I absolutely loved building this and have enough wood left over that I might make another one. This one was for my colleagues son who loves minecraft.

It's been a while so I thought I would do a quick post showing the current state of my workbench. It is a mess. I am currently nearing the end of a cool project which I will share soon.
As you may also notice there is a shoe box in there. I have been contacted by to test and review a pair of their workbooks, I am excited to test these, the review will be coming out in further posts.
I am going through a rejuvenation of my workshop joy & how my Instagram shows that. I am excited to share with you more this year and maybe do some wacky things on IG.

It's been quite a while since I had anything I wanted to post about.
I thought you would all enjoy seeing these custom tool holders which utilises the system.
These have been designed to hold my collection of deep hole markers.
This was printed on my using Silk PLA.

One of my colleagues asked me "Can you print me a chihuahua for mothers day" I said yes because you know, why not.
I took the modeled and scaled it up to 180% its modeled size, this stands at about 20cm tall and looks amazing. The model itself was scary but the closest to a real dog that I could find.
I love printing stuff for people, especially weird things like this. The best bit is there face when you show it to them, absolutely spectacular.
This was printer on my modified Ender 3 Pro with Silk PLA+ (White).
If you have something you want printed then drop me a message and I would be more than happy to print it for you.

So as part of the I was sent this awesome model by who took a design and ran it through program, it is amazing to see how little material is actually required to support something when all the forces are applied correctly.
This was designed for a 4000 unfortunately I have a dremel 300, just need to print some TPU spacers to hold the body of dremel, then it will be so useful for sanding small parts.
It's worth checking out
and to see what they printed this month.

Hey all, so it's been a while. The last couple of months I have been fine tuning and doing some upgrades to my (new) to me Ender 3 Pro 3D printer.
To try and push myself I have teamed up with & to send each other files that we wouldn't usually print to take us out of our comfort zone. So over the coming months expect to see some weird and wacky 3D models coming from the 3 of us.

A little snippet of the veg border progress, managed to complete the assembly of the boards and stakes. Do to the design it went together really easily using the back stretch as a reference point. So happy with how well this went together.
I know have the task of getting more soil to fill this 4m x 1.2m of a veg & herb patch.
What vegetables would you grow if you had this much space?
