Another space to fill at Chesapeake mill…. and I’m not complaining!

Things can move pretty quickly, so if you spot something you love, don’t hang around!

If you see a piece you’d like, the lovely staff at the Mill will be more than happy to reserve it for you, so you don’t miss out.

✨ Not every piece of furniture has to be a statement piece… ✨
Sometimes, just a few simple changes can give a tired, dated piece a whole new lease of life.

For this piece, it was all about keeping things subtle — a soft, neutral paint colour, a darker stained top, and swapping the dated wooden k***s for antique brass cup handles.

It’s amazing how much of a difference these small changes can make. The look has been completely refreshed without drastically changing the character of the furniture.

And, just as importantly, another piece of good-quality furniture has been saved from ending up in landfill, giving it the chance to be loved and enjoyed for many more years to come.
Sometimes a little refresh is all it needs!

Wow…All sold over this bank holiday weekend at Chesapeake mill. It’s gonna be a very busy week for me to fill those empty spaces.

✨ A LITTLE SNEAK PEEK… ✨
Here’s a glimpse of what’s being transformed next here at Restored & Adored!
This very tired Lebus cupboard and drawers have definitely seen better days, but there’s plenty of potential hiding underneath all that wear and tear!
Before I can get to the really exciting part, there are lots of little repairs, touch-ups and TLC needed to get this beautiful old piece back to its best.
Then it’s time for the fun part…
Giving it a whole new lease of life and getting it looking absolutely magnificent!
I can’t wait to see this transformation unfold — keep your eyes peeled for the finished piece!

Update… Now Sold!

After lots of sanding, painting and those all-important finishing touches, this beautiful set of Lebus drawers is finally finished!

There’s just something so satisfying about taking an old piece of furniture and creating something completely different from it

And they won’t be staying with me for long… they’ll be heading out to Chesapeake mill this weekend!
