Another build phase done for another console table. This is going to be one of our angled legs design 150cm long and about 30cms wide. After the tabletop and bottom shelf have finished gluing up over night, it will be onto sanding and staining ready to be delivered to the customer. This one will be finished in a natural oak stain which is a first for our workshop so excited to see how this comes out.

This is one of our angled legs console tables finished in a walnut stain. Our largest one yet at 150cm long.

Well that's the pre build done for our next client order - another console table but this one is a bit wider than usual.

Both the table top and bottom shelf in glue up and all the other stretchers and legs are pre cut in our angled design.

Tomorrow to start sanding everything down in preparation for this client's chosen colour which will be walnut. This will look amazing in a darker colour.

Phew that was a lot of sanding.....but now ready for finish then assembly. This is going to become a 20 cm deep console ...

My Granda who taught me everything I know about woodworking had a shed that the whole family nicknamed Barbie's Palace.

It's always good to hear feedback from a customer and I'm so glad our newest customer loves their table. This was fun for me to build due to exacting requirements of fitting over the radiator and after seeing the customers excellent set up, it's a proud moment for me to see it sitting in someone's home so well.
