Lord of the Rings inspired 14" Chestnut wedding cake base.

Making a start on this beautiful piece of chestnut today. First job is to remove the protective wax, then it's onto leveling and sanding before the pyrography (wood burning) design is added

While I'm working on my latest pet portrait (can't share it yet) I thought I would share some of my previous pieces. I use a process called pyrography, which is burning wood by hand using a special heated pen. Each portrait takes between 5 and 12 hours to complete depending on its size and complexity. A unique gift for yourself or others. Prices start from £80

Just finished this recent commission – a handmade solid oak door stop/holder. Really enjoyed making this one! It’s sturdy, simple, and shows off the natural grain of the wood nicely. Perfect for keeping doors in place while still looking good in your space. Drop me a message if you’d like one 👍
