Had a call today from this number claiming to be the National Crime Agency, saying that there’s been some suspicious activity using my National Insurance number and asking me to press 1 to be connected to an advisor.

They asked for my full name and National insurance number to check that it’s me to talk to me about this. Needless to say, I didn’t give any details out, I pleasantly said no and I was told police where coming to arrest me

If this number flashes up on your mobile phone, do not answer. The National Crime Agency do NOT call you.

Never give any personal details about yourself or any other person over the phone to someone who you haven’t contacted yourself.
