Taybar Security are currently recruiting for prestigious corporate security officers and Mobile response officers. You will be ensuring the security and safety of premises and people at a high-profile corporate sites in Hinkley /Loughborough/ Birmingham /Shrewsbury / Nottingham / Mansfield / Hucknall

Brief duties:

Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to

Provide security es**rt to all areas of the building as and when required

Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager

Always conduct yourself in a professional manner

Complete internal and external patrols, specifically reporting all faults and blocked fire exists as a priority

Respond to emergencies

Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management

Carry out ID checks

Carry out searches of areas and persons in accordance with assignment instructions

Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks

Follow all reasonable requests from the Supervisor or Senior Management

Excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radios

Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative

Excellent interpersonal skills, to liaise with security officers, managers and directors

Excellent organizational and time management skills

A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges

All candidates will need:

5-year checkable work history

Valid SIA badge

Excellent communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Pay Rates Depending on site and Areas £10.00 to £12.00 p/h

Shift Pattern: Will be discussed during interview stage – must be available to work days/nights/weekends

Main responsibilities:

Act as an initial point of reference on the phone or in a reception area as required. Use company e-mail and other basic correspondence where appropriate and necessary. Report incidents, meet requirements of health and safety policies and practices. Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery. Promote and encourage a high level of client involvement, consultation and communication.

Required:

Good inter-personal skills. Confidence to deal with sometimes stressful situations. Committed to continuous development of own skills and knowledge, and to undertake training relevant to the role. Able to be flexible in approach to responsibilities and to working hours. A commitment to high quality client service. To carry out such duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be directed by your line manager or our clients.

Provide 5 years checkable work or back to school history. Must have a valid SIA licence. Proof of the right to work in the UK, proof of residence and national insurance. Provide at least 1 character reference. Proof of ID (Passport or Birth Certificate only).

Terms and conditions:

Rate of pay: £10.00 p/h

45-55 hours a week on average (plus holiday and sickness cover)

28 days holiday entitlement pro rata (including bank holidays)

A full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.

To work within a team of mobile patrol officers maintaining a clean, safe and secure environment within all sites across Shropshire areas and deliver a high quality security service to our clients.

Principle Accountabilities:

1. Responsible for ensuring that rules, regulations, procedures and requirements in all aspects of security/ CCTV monitoring, car parking and lighting checks within the assignments are carried out in the specifications laid down by Taybar Security.

2. To act as a representative for Taybar Security and its clients at all times, ensuring the required standard uniform is worn in full by you and all Security Officers at all times during each shift without exception.

3. Maintain confidentiality in all instances at all times, even when not on duty.

4. Ensure all duties as laid down in the on-site Assignment Instructions are followed each shift without exception on all Taybar Security sites. Help instruct and assist in the training of new, temporary or cover security staff on their assignments in emergencies.

5. Working with the management and in cooperation with all members of staff employed at Taybar Security. Liaise with the emergency services.

6. Attend training sessions as required. Operate within Taybar Security policies and procedures for Health and Safety, Lone Working and Equal Opportunities.

1. Undertake patrols (on foot and vehicle) of commercial properties at frequency determined by the management.

2. Check, secure and report all external and internal doors, windows and fire exits on all premises you patrol. Eliminate when possible and report on all Health and Safety issues.

3. Respond to intruder and fire alarm call outs as appropriate, inspect for signs of break-in, search for suspects, liaise with police and emergency services.

4. Unlock and lock up all key-holding sites as instructed by the management.

5. During major incidents, restrict access to the affected site, regulate movement of traffic, pedestrians and liaise with the emergency services.

6. Assist the management, police or other security personnel in the acquisition of CCTV footage when required.
