Customer order, 12 arrows, 6 war heads and 6 hunting heads, all of the hand forged heads are by Hector Cole. This set is for a heavy bow and all the arrows are made to a 30 1/2 inch draw. Each head type has a corresponding fletching colour white, grey or brown. All the arrows have 2 inch horn inserts and Verdigris glue, all the war bodkins are Aspen shafts and the Swallow type hunting heads are 4 Ash shafts and 2 Aspen. All the arrows have been finished with beeswax. Very nice set off to the USA to go along the customers previous arrow orders.

Next market stock release. Set of 6 matched arrows for a 60lb bow with a draw length of 29 inch. Fitted with modbod heads so suitable for both target and field use. 2 inch horn inserts to reinforce the nock. Fletched 1 blue & 2 red. £75 plus postage. Thanks for looking.

Disaster, EMF. We are unable to attend the EMF this weekend. On the journey this morning to the event some lovely driver nearly drove us off the road resulting in a torn front tyre and some other damage to the wheel. Thanks to the AA and a garage Jake and myself have made it home (slowly). The car can be looked at later in the week, yes I am out of pocket but at least we are not injured. This means I have had to let the organisers down as we can not attend and those people who planned to come and see us. Not the best result but as I say no one Hurt. Market stock release no.2 100lb draw weight , 31 inch draw length, hand forged heavy bodkin, Crecy heads ( by Hector Cole). 2 inch horn inserts, Verdigris, bound red, fletched all grey 7 inch fletchings, Lime shafts. These are £25 each plus postage, 7 available.

Bosworth Battle Weekend. Due to strong interest more arrows will be available. I will be in the large marquee running Knight School classes and in between classes I will be in there talking about fletching and all arrow related topics, I will have a selection of arrows for sale and books to sign. Here is the first set from the market stock going up for sale. This set has a draw length of 29 inches, matched for a 70lb bow. The arrows shafts are all Ash and re-enforced with 2 inch horn inserts. The shafts are about 9.8 in diameter tapering down a little towards the head and again at the nock. Fletched with a grey c**k feather and two brown, black whipping. Fitted with a square bodkin type head so more for field use than target archery. Finished with two coats of varnish. Price £85. plus postage. If interested just message me. ARM MARKET NOTICE!
Due to either lost emails or lack of communication it looks like I will not be trading as usual in Novembers ARM market. I was considering expanding the trading space again but no replies to any of my emails. Obviously I cannot just wait in a situation of uncertainty, so over the next few coming weeks I will be releasing some of the arrow stock I have accumulated for this market to be sold from this page. I will of course still be trading at Bosworth, the EMF and other events. To my customers who I meet up with usually at the ARM markets thank you for your understanding and support. Let’s see what happens in March. Keep shooting John. 🏹🏹
