Due to very wet and muddy conditions on the original planned route for the Bridgend walk next Wednesday 2nd August, we are changing it to Heritage Trail 6 which goes to Higher Hurdsfield and back.

It is the same length and difficulty as the route planned at 5.5 miles and two boots.

We are certainly into tick season now and it’s important to check your dogs regularly.
It’s also important to remove any ticks using a tick twister because (unlike other methods) it doesn’t stress the tick.
Tick twisters only cost a few pounds from your vet, local pet shop, or from me of course!
