There can't be many doing my job who have actually, physically got their hands dirty, building their own house. It's been a while since I last put anything on my page - largely because I let it do its own thing and have been too busy to keep the posts going.
The year has been a strange one (for all of us!) but I've stayed busy after a very slow and slightly scary first and second quarter that had me wondering whether the phone would evert ring again for a while. Must have been something to do with that virus thing...
I just wanted to say thanks to the many and varied clients that have chosen to use my services over the last year and to say Happy New Year. Let's hope that next year is a more pleasant one all round.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my drawing clients over the last 12 months. Hopefully I've managed to help you along the way to achieving your plans and again, hopefully without too much stress.
The year has, for me, been an extremely busy one with more work than ever to get through and, with work stretching into the second quarter of 2018, the coming year seems to be going the same way.
I don't keep the site update as much as I should - maybe 2018 and I'll get round and take some more photos of completed projects, until then, I wish you all - previous clients and those I've yet to meet - a merry, peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year.

Amazing just how much engineering goes into what is effectively a big pile of rock. 'Rip-Rap' sea defence project at Dunvegan - a new one for me. Hopefully, the clients' land will stay put now and not migrate into the sea when the winter storms come.
