Happy New Year everyone!

The evening classes are back this week, Monday afternoons will start next week. The classes have moved to my new sewing room - The Village Sewing Studio, very exciting! I don't have a sign yet so you need to go through the door with the sign Beauty by the Bay (between Aries the dress agency and Bel Cibo, the Italian), up the stairs and immediately right, I'll put a sign on the door.

I am going to be doing 2 evening sessions on a Monday and Tuesday and the new time is 6.30-9pm, as 9.30 was too late for lots of you! You can come on either night, just let me know the week before which night suits you. Can you pm me to let me know which evening you will be coming this week?

Tomorrow evening will be our last sewing session before Christmas. Come along and make some festive decorations and enjoy a mince pie or two!

Exciting news... I got the keys on Friday for my new workroom. My family are very relieved that all my sewing stuff will be moved out of the house shortly! I will be based upstairs in St George's House, Port St Mary, up over the Italian restaurant - Bel Cibo. I have a great workshop space, if any crafters are interested in sharing their knowledge with like minded people and leading a workshop please pm me. I am hoping to publish a programme of workshops to start in the new year soon. Please share with anyone you think may be interested. x

and relax...! I am now enjoying a glass of wine or two after a busy week and early start today at the Laxey Xmas Fayre! Louise Best Best shared a table with me and she sold wooden items made by her dad before he suffered and died from Alzheimers. She raised over £150 and all proceeds are going to the Alzheimer's Society, that's fantastic!

One week to go! I will need to be sewing every minute of the day!
