We've been busy creating beautiful displays with lots of new stock. These pieces have already been flying off the shelves, so if you see something you like, don't hesitate to pick it up! We have a feeling they won't last for long 🌿

Congratulations to @ Lillie and Dot who have been awarded the next “Purple Star” by Visit-Pershore. It is a lovely way to welcome a new business to the town.

Lillie and Dot have recently arrived in Pershore, previously owner Alex has had two shops in Worcester but not in the centre. Alex felt she would like to move to Pershore as it has a lovely community feel to it, and she was keen to become part of the town. She has found Pershore people to be friendly and lovely, many are returning to shop with her. The shop opened in Pershore on October 8th on the corner of Broad Street and Bridge Street. Many of Alex’s old customers from Worcester now travel over to Pershore to shop with Alex and spend time in Pershore.

The timing of Lillie and Dots arrival in Pershore was perfect, Alex caught the last of the Pershore Broad Street Markets and the Pershore Georgian Christmas Fayre.

Lillie and Dot specialise in quality refurbished furniture, which Alex paints herself using Annie Sloan and Dixie Belle paints. Alex sells her pieces of furniture in the shop, but if you have your own, she will gladly consider commissions. She also runs workshops on how to paint your own furniture, so people can work on their own projects. For finishing touches in Lillie and Dot you can purchase from the beautiful range of paints, mouldings and handles or k***s. Alex even stocks the special brushes you will need.

In addition, Alex organises Lampshade workshops, showing people how to make both rolled and sewn handmade lampshades. You can choose from Alex’s stock of fabrics or provide your own to match your décor.

Lillie and Dot stock an interesting range of gifts and homeware items. Scented candles and a range of luxurious Agnes and Cat toiletries including shampoo bars, lip balms and bath fizzers, all artisan handmade in Sheffield. The French soaps are very popular being vegan and made with all natural ingredients suitable for sensitive skins. 🍋🍋‍🟩🍋

If you are looking for unique gifts look no further! Local artist’s work is for sale in the form of greetings cards and mugs by Worcester artist, Margaret Powell, greetings cards and pieces of original artwork by Quirkygreys artist, Martina Munn. Locally handmade bottle openers by Andrew Sanders are beautifully packaged and labelled telling the recipient the type of wood the handles are skilfully made from.

Alex also stocks many interesting vases and decorative items to embellish your home, if you are looking for that last minute Christmas gift, why not pop in and see what Alex has in stock. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 6pm.

We're looking for lovely, enthusiastic, hardworking, eye for detail kind of people to join our team here at L&D in Pershore.

• Part-time position
• Shop open Tuesday-Saturday 11-6
• Help needed Saturday 11-4 and other days/hours to suit.
• 20% staff discount

The role would include serving customers, being able to work independently, having great initiative, enjoying style, colour &eye for detail, organising orders & and deliveries, general housekeeping, and getting stuck into the day to day running of the shop.

I took these photos this evening and was working late again, trying to do so much before we open on Saturday! What do you think of the beautiful building? ✨️
There are 4 big Georgian windows (1 is round the side) & also 2 'display cases' .. I'm so excited to be able to change them up all the time. They really are stunning 🌿

We've been so busy and we're almost ready to open our doors to you! 🎉
