Here is another angle of the stunning live edge resin river that runs down the centre of the dining table. The crystal clear resin really showcases how stunning this piece of 2" cornish oak really is.

Here's a birds-eye view of my new Cornish Oak and clear resin river dining table. We popped my logo underneath to showcase how clear it actually is. Because of the size of the table and the volume of resin needed, it took 6 separate pours and a 3 day long nervous breakdown to fully cast the 50mm oak slab.

Here is a photo of the L shaped sofa's corner piece coming together. There's plenty of maths involved in getting the mitred oak slats to fit the holes in the steel frame. Measure 5 times cut once!

Earlier this summer I had the pleasure of designing and making this one of a kind L shaped sofa for some great clients.
I wanted to build something completely different than anything else on the market, featuring the highest quality 2 inch oak slats, all marine grade stainless fixings and 6mm rolled steel frame coated in a 7 layer automotive paint system.
The upholstery for the memory foam base cushions and duck feather back cushions where made in-house by the talented Louise () using super soft, water/UV/fire resistant outdoor fabric which match the sofa perfectly.

Here's another couple of pics from my recent restoration project. The table leg extensions were made from 4mm rolled steel plate, and then arc welded to the cast iron original sides. The splattery arc welds were then cleaned up and a decorative mig bead was layed over the top, followed by a coat of white tinted epoxy resin to fully seal the moisture out.

Before and after shots of a recent renovation I've completed on some cherished cast iron garden furniture.
It features new quater sawn Cornish oak slats, marine stainless steel hardware, red oxide primed and arctic white 2k paint with metallic bronze detailing.
The coolest part of this renovation is the table legs frame/extension. As the table top was being extended and widened, we didn't want it sitting on spindly little legs. More info and pics to follow soon.
