The Rescued Robin

In our case it was all things vintage, and in particular, Vintage China. We've both (Elaine and Jo) collected pieces over the years of our own and on our first gathering to discuss ideas it was clear that we were so alike in our desire to revisit family traditions and nostalgia by bringing the concept of good old fashioned afternoon tea up to present day. We each had individually shown our obsessi

on by collecting our own beloved tea sets which we cherish - and decided to begin by bringing this collection together and sharing our pasttime with likeminded people. So the initial plan was to enable anyone to use our collection for their own celebrations of the past and appreciate the beauty of these pieces by making new memories and occasions to enjoy them. So as the months went on, our collection grew as we set out to find more beautiful items to add to our china cabinet. And as our stock and enthusiasm grew, so did our collection of pieces which were admittedly not all 'tea' related and we furthered our mission to rescue items from the past that were too beautiful to be neglected and hidden in dusty cupboards - and give them new life!
