APPEAL | We're appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fail to stop collision in Middlewich.

At around 6pm on Sunday 18 January, a 16-year-old boy was knocked off his bike while cycling on the A533 Bostock Road, in Stanthorne.

The car, believed to be a black Mercedes or a black BMW, failed to stop at the scene.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and we're keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid our investigation.

Delighted to finish this beautiful bookcase for our clients in Brereton recently, finished in farrow and ball Dimity and backless to blend into the walls. Faced in English oak and with Warm White Led lighting throughout all controlled by Smart Control allowing for dimming and control via the remote or app.

Big thanks to Seb and the team at Led Technologies for their assistance with the lighting.

Thanks also to Cavanaghs in Winsford who supplied the materials.

Now that the dust has settled, literally, the leaders and children of 2nd Wharton Scout Group would like to express their gratitude for the hard work of several people during the last few months.

We needed help to refurbish our Scout hut ceiling, Ron Attley from The Rotary Club of Winsford and Middlewich saw our need and stepped in.

The Rotary Club took us under their wing and asked if people could help us. Al from The Littlest Woodshop put on his cape and came to our rescue! With the help of his team and their suppliers, Howarth Timber and Building Supplies Northwich, who supplied the materials at cost, work could begin. The material costs were covered via donations from Middlewich & District Round Table and Winsford & Middlewich Rotary. Al and his team gave their time and energy to the project for FREE. 2nd Wharton Scout Group have a ceiling again!

Local electrician Jake Jones Electrical - JJE was waiting in the wings. He, together with his suppliers Greenwood Lighting Sandiway and Edmondson's Electrical Winsford, offered to fit and supply new indoor and outdoor lighting for FREE as soon as the ceiling was completed... and last week Jake and his team did just that!

We have also had a lot of help from our own Scouting community, friends and family as they all helped clean the outdoor space and remove a lot of the rubbish the original builders had left.

We still have work to do but with the help we have received so far we are making great progress.

To each and every person who has helped, we thank you immensely! We would not have the space we have now without you. Giving your time and energy to a project that you don't personally benefit from shows that you all have hearts of gold. We are proud of you, we are thankful for you and you are a credit to your community ⚜️ THANK YOU ⚜️

Have you got an alcove in your home?

It’s amazing how you can change an alcove!

This one isn’t just pretty it’s also hiding the gas meter and main board for the house. Located in the lower cupboards allowing access for service and repair should it ever be required.

All elements of this build were cut, machined and produced at our workshop and then transported to the client and installed. This build is completed on Baltic Birch allowing for a variety of finishes in the future.

Completed last week for Jim and Carrie over in middlewich, great clients and an absolute pleasure to work for.

🌳🪓🪚🔨📦 Oak effect shelves 📦🔨🪚🪓🌳

We recently were asked to make some chunky oak shelves for an existing Media wall our client had built themselves.

We produced a 40mm thick oak veneered shelf with routed channels to allow for the fitting of lighting and designed a steel runner system to allow for easy installation. The shelves were then finished with danish oil for that classic oak look.

As we approach our first anniversary of the business it got me thinking about the fantastic projects we have been involved in.

We have been blessed with exceptional clients many of whom have become more like friends than clients.
