Our director, Alex Sparrow will be running a two-day course, providing an introduction to the theory and practice of building with h**p lime (h**pcrete) in new build and retrofit projects.
Run from the impressive Earthship in Stanmer Park (Brighton), this course is open to anyone aged 16 or over. Whether you're planning your own project as a self-builder, architect or contractor, or just wanting to gain practical experience of the different ways of using this material. No prior knowledge is assumed, so the course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some building experience.

We're at The Home Upgrade Show today and tomorrow, taking place in the stunning Victoria Baths, Manchester. Our specialist team are there to highlight our Retrofit Right services and to showcase the range of bio-based, vapour permeable products that are most suitable for the retrofit of older pre-war housing stock.

Last weekend we ran our "Building with H**pcrete" 2 day course at the amazing Brighton Earthship. The most wonderfully enthusiastic folk turned up eager to learn about the wonders of this material – from insulation to thermal mass and its incredible vapour-permeable qualities.

New Build H**pcrete House, Derbyshire: a 3 storey large detached family h**pcrete home, which was recently completed in late 2021.

UK H**pcrete provided consultancy, site training and material supply, as well as the UKH construction team finishing off the timber frame and H**pcrete works for the client, and lime rendering it.
